I have spent many years as a DJ in clubs etc, mostly on the soul scene for nearly 35 years. Most of these years spent on the

northern soul scene travelling up and down the country to various soul clubs, listening, playing and collecting soul music

from Motown to rare groove northern soul and ska.

You can hear my show on BIR every Tuesday from 8pm, (Replay Sunday 12 noon) for 2 hours of the best selection

of northern, motown and  modern soul.

He is the station manager, so you must listen.

As well as presenting his show Nick is also the station manager, who is the main contact for new presenters and new

ideas working alongside Alex Kerr who provides the station with the space and advice on the day to day running of

the station the two make a great team with the main aim to help promote the station and get more people involved
