Hi my name is George, I present the Country music show I was a member of the

Banbury Country Muisc Club from the early seventies untill the club closed in 1998.

Some members ask me if I could keep it running so the next fortnight I booked a group

and after a good turn out on the night I kept the club going right upto 2005.I had to

give up the club through ill health, so presenting shows on BIR keeps me in touch

with country music. you can hear george on thursday nights from 6pm
